My girls they always got me as soon as I walk in. To the Cook that song I love the hippie hash with no tomatoes. And Mama keep things in check! Her soups are homemade & delicious! If you're looking for a great place to go every weekend and not feel like a animal being cattle hearted. And get some good food real fast with some great service. Don't just stop in have a seat and enjoy yourself. Me and my partner go every weekend

Absolutely love this little hidden gem on the Ferndale/Hazel Park border! We’ve been to Omega Hawg & Dawg Deli twice now and both times have been fantastic. The cheeseburgers are absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fries crispy with just the right amount of seasoning—addictively good! The vibe is small but mighty, with a welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. It has this charming old-school 80s diner feel—like The Max from Saved by the Bell, but cozier. There’s never been a wait for a seat, and the outdoor patio is adorable with bright faux flowers that add a playful, inviting touch from the outside. Definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving a great burger and some nostalgic charm!

My husband and I came here for breakfast. From the outside it doesn't look the best, but once you walk inside there's many seats available, it looks like a typical diner. The service was great, very friendly. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The food was amazing! We both got skillets. There's parking next to the restaurant. Would definitely come back!

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE MORE . The food is always so fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly! Special shoutout to Deanna and Jennifer! There’s something so special about walking into your favorite breakfast/lunch diner and being greeted by such an amazing experience. Feels like I’m going over to family’s house for breakfast! Get the Paul Bunyon if you can. It’s classic, delicious and special shoutout to the delicious toast!

So delicious! The healthy omelette and big breakfast burrito were both amazing! Our server was so nice and let me leave with two to-go menus which, in retrospect, we're maybe not for me to take. It was so good! I apologize if I stole those. Can't wait to try more! Thank you, and thank you for such a great breakfast!!

We get carryout often from Omega and they have the best burgers and we love their breakfasts! Always friendly and amazing service.

This crew are professional and know how to provide the kind of small town diner experience that keeps you coming back! Great food, (don't be afraid to ask for what they recommend), cooked how you want it. Adorable place, too, which fits artsy Ferndale sensibilities. Their burgers are famous for a reason. Try the grilled turkey sandwich, with either fries or yummy onion rings. Soups are good, omelettes are amazing and omg, that seeded rye toast with real butter is fantastic. Best restaurant toast I've ever had. They make you feel like family here, which is rare these days.
